Nomination
By stating to your University that you want to take part in Erasmus, they are responsible for providing a list with all the students after the deadline of the open call passes. Your University will contact the Erasmus Office with the list and then the Erasmus Office will contact you in order to proceed with your application. For better preparation, you may find more information for the application procedure in the section below
Nomination Instructions
Your University sends your nomination to erasmus@hua.gr before the nomination deadline, by e-mail, mentioning:
- your FULL name [first name(s) and last name(s)],
- your Email address,
- your field of study (Name & ISCED code),
- studies level (bachelor or masters) &
- your Exchange period (winter, spring, or full year)
Nomination Deadlines
Application
After your University has completed your Nomination and you have been contacted by the Erasmus Office at Harokopio University of Athens, you may proceed with your application.
The application is submitted online in a link you will receive as soon as your nomination has been completed. For the completion of the application, you will need to have beforehand the following information and documents:

A ToR
is an official document that records and summarizes a student’s academic achievements during their studies. It consists basically of a list of the course units taken, the exams you have passed and the credits gained.

Online Learning Agreement (OLA)
Before you proceed with the proposed for Studies here is the necessary HUA information about the “Receiving Responsible person”

Please visit our offered courses for more information by each department. You can choose modules from both undergraduate & postgraduate programs.
att: Please note when completing your Learning Agreement: You should choose modules from the Faculty/subject field/study program that has the exchange agreement with your home institution.
For all academic issues e.g. chosen courses etc, please contact directly the HUA Departmental Erasmus+ Coordinator stated above and for administrative issues please contact our Erasmus office at erasmus@hua.gr
Once you have chosen the modules as well as their correspondent in your University, you should submit your Online Learning Agreement via the OLA platform to the home Erasmus+ Coordinator, who is responsible for approving it in coordination with his counterpart at HUA. This will be your initial Learning Agreement, which you will have the opportunity to modify if needed, after your arrival at the Harokopio University of Athens.
You will be informed for the deadline to submit the OLA and should be signed by you and both Erasmus+ Coordinators to be valid.
Acceptance Letter
Once your application is approved by the Erasmus+ Departmental Coordinator and the Department s General Assembly a letter of acceptance will be sent out. Letters of Acceptance are sent out twice a year. Once in November/December and once in June/July.

Learning Agreement DURING MOBILITY (Changes in Learning Agreement)
If you would like to change your Learning Agreement Before the Mobility (LA) you must consult with your HUA Departmental Academic Erasmus+ Coordinator who is responsible for approving changes in the LA, in coordination with their counterpart at your University.
Afterward, please complete the Learning Agreement During the mobility (check the “Records” section below) with all the deleted & added courses using a reason for the change from table 12 and sign the document.
Both Erasmus+ (Receiving & Sending) Coordinators must also sign it.
A copy of the signed LA must be sent to the HUA Erasmus office: erasmus@hua.gr
Be aware of the deadline!
- Complete your Attendance certificate and e-mail it (in .doc format) to the Erasmus Office for singnature
- Return your HUA student id
- Request the HUA Library certificate
For the ‘Attendance certificate‘ and the return of the HUA student id you must come by the Erasmus Office.
Please send us the Attendance certificate/ Confirmation of Attendance a couple of days earlier before you come so we can have it signed for you to pick up.
The Transcript of Records (ToR) is issued by the departamental Secretariat and will be send to you and your Coordinator by e-mail from the HUA Erasmus Office.
